Using a shaving brush helps to exfoliate the skin before shaving by buffing off dead skin cells that could hinder you from getting a clean, closer shave. Aftershave is very important to nourish the skin after you just removed the dead cells and exposed a softer layer of skin. An aftershave splash will cleanse and tighten the skin, or an aftershave balm will moisturize and soothe the skin.
