Shaving 101 Advertising Policy

Shaving 101 charges each advertiser a small fee to help cover the costs of products for reviews and expenses associated with maintaining the website. The following guidelines have been developed to explain the various aspects of advertising on shaving101.com. The term "advertising" includes banners, badges, sponsored content, and promotions.

Honesty and Integrity

Despite a relationship with manufacturers and/or retailers, Shaving 101 will only publish unbiased reviews of shaving products. Participating vendors are NOT guaranteed positive reviews or endorsements for any advertisement payment or product donation. All articles, reviews, and photographs posted to Shaving 101 are the sole opinion of the author, in collaboration with Mike Sandoval, without influence from advertisers or others.

Levels of Sponsorship

Tier 1. Sponsors at this level receive a 208 x 85 pixel graphic banner on the home page and in the Featured Ads section throughout the website. Prominent ads are colorful and eye catching to attract web visitors/buyers to sponsors' sites.

Tier 2. Sponsors at this level receive a text ad accompanying a 44 x 54 pixel graphic on the home page and in the Featured Ads section throughout the website. Links do not have rel="nofollow" tags and will improve sponsors' SEO/web marketing efforts.

Tier 3. A sponsor at this level receives a specially written product review. The article includes a description and evaluation of the product along with custom photography and web links with quality anchor text to the sponsor’s website. Tier 3 sponsors should expect a fair and unbiased review of any products submitted.
